Silicone Coating

Roofing Foam and Coatings...

Closed Cell spray foam roofing material is a higher density rigid foam that expands roughly 20 times it liquid volume when sprayed in place. It is typically sprayed at 1.5 inches thick directly to metal roofs, tar, modified bitumen, and other BUR systems. Closed cell spray foam is highly moisture resistant and also adds insulating properties just as it would under the roof. The spray foam is then coated with a white silicone coating, which adds even more reflectivity and protects the foam from UV exposure.

Advantages of Roofing Foam and Silicone Roof Coating:

  • Completely monolithic

  • Provides a water tight and air tight seal

  • Mold and Fungi Resistant

  • Outlasts most other roof systems

  • Rigid,  Structural, and wind resistant

  • R-Value of 7 per inch thick

  • Building code approved

Limitations of Roofing Foam and Coating:

  • Can not be installed below 40 degrees or within 2 hours of the dew point
