Closed Cell Spray Foam Insulation

Closed Cell spray foam is a rigid foam that expands roughly 30 times it liquid volume when sprayed in place. It is typically sprayed to achieve 2 inches thick in walls and 3 inches thick in attics and rooflines. Closed cell spray foam is highly moisture resistant and is therefore recommended for crawlspaces, masonry, and metal buildings. It also has great adhesive and structural qualities, triples the wind uplift rating of a roof structure, and is the most common insulation used in freezers, refrigerators, and coolers.
